That is HIDEOUS - and it won't work and it's in the Mail - so - to coin a good European expression -

Should be electric. Looks OK for a concept, though. Doubt we'll ever see it.

..although more probable than a new Esprit...or Elan, Eterne, Elite or Elise; the models Danny Bahar 'launched ' a few years ago. Sad-but it always looked like utter pie-in-the sky. The Esprit was closest to production but I understand would still take serious investment. Lotus is just about ticking over with rehashed old models but the future remains bleak-or at best very, very niche.

Like many I have affection for the brand. I'd just love an original Elan. One of my all time lust cars. I have a few mind you!

Took my Stag for a burble this weelend in the brief dry spell. Profits at my local petrol station have shot up!

+1 They should leave it alone. A really bad concept and no real biker would go near it made for Bankers (change the B for a W on that word)

Tough to be any "cooler" than this. Peter seems to eschew his helmet, and Hopper's is rawhide

Today would have Joey Dunlop's birthday, wonder if he'd have still been going at it in his 60s? Always missed, never forgotten.

You are not far off the mark. I have been retired 6 years now but they still send me the monthly Trade only mag. Price will be £84,000.
