That link doesn't work.

it does if you search for all of the address, I think

/?

Yep, it does. I'm only 20 months into my first BMW ownership experience, so I don't really qualify!

had them for ever, cant really fault them, only had the one bad one ( smg m3 )..  the one pictured was a m3 gt   only 50 made, special car, and not really recognised for what it was, aluminium doors, front and rear adjustable spoilers, carbon fibre interior, British racing green with matching leather

I currently have a 1996 328i that I'm facing having to sell for peanuts when it's still an excellent car. It's probably even more enjoyable to drive than my much missed 260Z! (yes, that's a Datsun that was a Porsche 911 beater in it's day on and off the track!)

I guess change is inevitable and I've already hung on much too long...

Here's mine. A 120d Coupe. Those summer wheels and tyres will be back on soon

I haven’t regretted parting with any of mine, although I did suppress a mild sniffle when our daughter drove away in our E39 528 which I had run for 100K and Helen had put another 35K on. This car left the family last weekend after 11 years of service with 3 family members across 2 generations. We replaced it with an E39 Alpina B10 so the sadness was short lived.  It’s more a question of what I might regret buying next time. We currently run an E66 and an E70 and my E66 is getting long in the tooth, although still looking good and running well. The F01 is unappealing. It has a plastic fantastic interior but worse, an awful ride. The whole range looks rather dull to me at present although the latest generation M5 might be a candidate. I hope they sell loads of i8s. I can imagine one of these landing on the drive a few years hence. But who knows? My priority at present is to keep my 750 going because past fuel, VED, insurance, warranty (which pays for itself) and maintenance it’s costing me essentially nothing because there’s little depreciation left in it.

Never regretted them.

First one i had ended up as the pic below. Write-off after being hit by a lorry whilst doing roughly 70 MPH. Lucky I walked away to buy another one.

Ouch! But at least it did it's final job efficiently, allowing you to walk into another car.

About 30 years ago the late Mrs H bought a new 280ZX that had the glass roof panels that you could take out. A quick car,but other than that it was very much a nothing car as the 2 back seats for so small anything older than a 3 year old would not get in them. Sometime after we split she bought a Ford Escourt 1600i or something. Got to drive it once, now that was a fun car, held the road like glue.

My Z4 Coupe. We both had Z4s at the time and needed something with a hatch to take our new dog. Mine went to be replaced by a 123D (which is rather good TBH)

The BMW E30 325i Touring that my wife drove was a fun car - a bit too much fun at times as it could get quite tail happy on muddy, greasy roads like we had in Dorset.  I was sad to see it go though.  And my own E36 320i Coupe I still have.  It was in such lovely condition and the best colour too - Mauritius Blue with dark blue leather interior - I couldn't bear to let it go.  Sadly the barn where it's kept received serious damage during the recent storms and part of the structure collapsed onto the BMW.  The paint is now scratched and I note that there's some rust in the rear arches.  It's not quite a classic car yet, so sadly it looks like the scrap man beckons.

My BMW 120d - that I use for work - is fast approaching 240,000 miles and is starting to feel a little tired - no regrets keeping it

The ones I have driven have been too small on the inside for the size of the car, too heavy and boring to drive, and that includes a damned expensive M3. What ever works for you but not my cup of tea and you pay a premium for the price and status factor - not at all like hifi

just exchanged my 330D coupe, by a 430D coupe - same colors as below and styling.....not even a second regret.....

No I like to randomly comment off topic, a bit like others in this thread. If it offends you I suggest you ignore it

Heavy and boring compared to what? I've never driven an M3 but they do seem pretty well regarded.

We still have our first and only BMW. A 2013 X5 turbo-diesel. Very nice it is, too. V8-like low-end torque. Nice handling for an SUV, comfy, tight, quiet. Very well-equipped. Lots of leg and shoulder room for the growing kidlets in the back seat. Load area is perhaps a little small for the size of the vehicle, but works fine for us.

I've driven a good mix, mainly on business and my brother used to work for a large bmw dealer and they've all been excellent cars but they don't really excite me when I drive them. The business class models have been comfortable but a bit boring and the quicker ones have been a bit too civilised for me but I've got friends who love them. To be honest I had much more fun driving my wife's mx5 which was high on the giggles per pound ratio

MX5 is ok if you live in Brighton.
