And maybe a time machine .
I'll assume you mean 7 March. Thanks for the heads-up, though I don't get that channel. I'll look for it here in the US. It had a very limited showing a few months back in one of the artsy theaters in Seattle. I missed it but the local review looked very interesting to me. Much great music recorded there; Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Paul Simon and of course Skynyrd. Many others I'm sure.
Do folks here really still use VCRs? It's analog, you know. No streaming.
Now setting my Betamax!
"Ok. Who has the blank tape?"

Where I live they point at street lighting!
A free VHS tape and a Crackerjack pencil are in the post to you Joe for spotting my deliberate date error. It is indeed 7th March.
Doh!
John.
John,
Perhaps you're...
What a cracking album that is, Steve. One of my all time faves.
Good listening.
John.
I've just go around to watching the 'Muscle Shoals' programme. A fascinating musical history lesson. Rick Hall is a great character - a man clearly driven by the tragedies in his life.
John.
Another very interesting and great documentary presented by the Beeb. It seems amazing that the area can bring so much to the sounds of 2 very good studios, I guess it's the attitude rather than the actual musicians.
As J.N. says,it includes the moving story of Rick Hall.
Still yet to see a documentary where Keith Richard makes sense, and how DOES he play guitar with those distorted fingers?

He doesn't. Ronnie Wood and Blondie Chaplin do it.
