From a race driver friend:
"If i spend 2500 euros on 4 laps of Nring, dyu fancy the psgr seat? Gt3, vantage or similar."
Oh sheet. I can't think.

Hmmm - but wouldn't you want to drive?

I'd love to, but only in a road car, not a GT3 etc. If I go, we will probably be in his company Mondeo estate, and I'd probably be faster in that. And if it's a wet track, well, 450+bhp would feel like a punishment. I'd guess.

Been awake since 4am, and I'm up again at 6 tomorrow, off to Brooklands with a load of workmates, meet my dad, and have a passenger ride in a Merc SLS. It'll be a laugh from dawn til dusk
And so to bed.

I could listen to those AMGs roaring round Brooklands all day. Man-made thunder. Glorious. Have fun, Tony.

Well, the SLS ride was a few quid well spent. It's quite an experience being in a car of that ability that's being driven by someone that has been racing for fifteen years and currently competes in Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Definitely recommended if you find yourself planning a visit to the Brooklands Museum.
And I've not been put off being driven around the green hell

Provided Porsche manage to find the slight techno glitch which has required shut down of GT3 production and use of any new GT3's by their ever so slightly frustrated owners....!! (Aston may be the safer option!).

If I go, it'll be in the warmer months, so I'd hope any problems will have been ironed out by then. Truth be told, it'd be great in a Clio Cup, so I'm not too concerned
