I now am a MoFi convert, tho I refuse to buy 45 I dint want to get up that often.

2 weeks ago I had duke Ellington and then Billie Holiday right in my living room. A friend was here to witness it, TT is Palmer 2.5 and DVD XX2.  He was truly amazed.

They seem to have sent out all the preorders now. Mine just arrived. First ever MoFi 45 and I will be very interested to hear how it compares with my original.

Thanks again for the original alert - I wouldn't have wanted to pay more for this.

My pleasure. This reissue is similar to Desire for me. Initially I wasn't too impressed with the SQ but it's growing on me with every play.

Mine arrived yesterday too.

I think this is a fabulous version. I have never heard it sound this "real".

All of the Dylan MOFI 45rpm's I have gone for have been great so far.

I am very happy with it in terms of bringing Bob's vocals and presence forward in the mix.

At times a bit hard which I think is how Bob intended it as at that stage he was making a huge statement and wanted that 'there and now', unrehearsed, dynamic, radical and aggressive sound ..... I believe.

It does give the feeling of being Bob's session with the band behind and following him,  although I never saw him in those days - this is how it was accordingly to those who were there....so nice!

The Stereo mix gives some nice interpretations and some real insights of him with the band which I like.

It also flows and rocks,  which i really like.

But on the other hand it is not quite the same as the sound and feeling I have grown up with over the last, nearly, 50 years!

So very positive and glad I bought it  although I do still rate the sound and feeling of the MONO version from his recent box set.

So now I have two version I rate the MONO box set and this Stereo mix.

Quite superb, yet again. The best I've ever heard this album. I really don't get the opinion liking the mono mix. This is a band recording and mono reproduction doesn't do it justice. This is a gem, well done MFSL.
