Anybody else experimented with tactile transducers??

Just wondering if anyone else has dabbled with bass shakers/tactile transducers??  I was sufficiently intrigued to purchase 4x Reckhorn bass shakers for home cinema and gaming and have mounted them to some pine batons screwed into the sofa.  Currently driving them with an old Yamaha AV receiver and feeding the Yamaha with the LFE output from my main Pioneer receiver.  I have to say I'm really blown away (literally) by how much they add to the cinema experience for certain types of films.  I watched Star Trek the Wrath of Khan and the shudder as photon torpedoes and phasers struck added enormously to the feel of being there!!  I also experimented with the Blu-ray of Rush and that is a very visceral experience with 2x REL Storm subwoofers and 4x Reckhorns driving the room!!

In a way it's pure cheese but I have to admit it's perhaps the most fun £180 I have spent on Hi-fi and AV in a long time.
