First race of the new season over, and it may be (ignoring the plethora of new rules) a return to the days of tough and tight racing. Rossi showed good form, but the result may have been a little flattering, with Lorenzo crashing out and the foibles of the track, although I hope that he still has some wins left in him !
Marquez simply remains an amazing talent - and only 21.
Bradley showed great promise despite crashing, and Crutchlow should come good, if Ducati can move the bike forward in the season. Looking forward to seeing how Redding pans out as well - he has massive promise.
All in all, a great season opener for what should be an exciting season.

Agree that Marquez is a little cocky, however, that might be expected given how good he is!
I actually quite like him, and he's certainly moving the sport on a bit, if he can maintain his 'dominance' (might be a little early for that word though).
Lorenzo caused more division when he arrived in MotoGP, and I wasn't a fan initially, but like hom now that he has matured a bit.
However you look at things, 2014 should be a good season.

I saw the highlights earlier on ITV4 as I don't do BT/Sky etc. Looks like Smith will be replacing Cal in fighting for podium places. The only shot of Cal we saw was when he ran out of petrol right at the end. I can't see the Ducati's doing anything this season.
I have to say that I thought the commentators were dreadful. I don't know who they were but they were very poor, and combined with ad breaks and non-HD all I can say is ....... Come back BBC.

Amazing picture.
As a bike rider, I remain in awe of anyone who can get an elbow 'down', even with a great track surface, sticky tyres, etc.
i can't even manage a knee !
