Multiroom streaming

Does anyone know if the latest firmware allows streaming across different makes? We have a uniti 2 in one room and marantz m-cr603 in another. Is there a way to stream music simultaneously to each?
If you are running a UPNP server you can stream to as many renderers of as many makes and models as you like simultaneously. But you won't be able to synchronize them all.
I believe that you can link players in a single zone in JRiver and they will be synchronised.
IF the unity 2 has a tape out you can use the tape out to send a second signal to the other
Thanks for the replies. I did mean simultaneously and synchronised. JRiver may be the way to go but does it work with a NAS drive?

Unfortunately JRiver can only run on a PC or mac computer.

Yup!!!! Renderer agnostic!

Also players of different makes?

Yes as long as the player supports DLNA.
I am curious to know why the multi-room / party mode capability of the Naim streamers reduces everything to mp3 quality, albeit with only light compression. In other words, you can play local in hi-def but if you stream to a second location it only gets mp3 quality.
It seems strange because even Sonos manages multi-room playback in CD quality WAN, FLAC, etc. Why can't Naim manage this too and is it something we can expect to change soon?
