Vtuner - Radio Stations missing

Posted by: BR on 06 April 2014

I have a Unity Lite and since some days some radio stations are gone (Germany, all NDR stations).

There is a audio message indicating that this channel has changed its address.

How can I get again these channels to listen NDR again? My Naim has the newest sw release.

All other stations (I use) are working fine.

vTuner needs to update their database accordingly. You could drop an email to them (through the help in the web interface). Unfortunately it seems that the result may be poor though (I have send a couple of mails to them without any response). You could also contact Naim support and hope that they will be willing to put the matter forward to vTuner.

Last option is to add the stations manually through the vTuner web interface but in order to do that you have to find out the actual streaming URLs first.

Further to this. NDR stations seem still to be missing and I really think that vTuner should fix their database since these are public service stations and might interest quite large audience. In the mean time I have found the following stream addresses from NDR web page:

http://www.ndr.de/resources/me...dr1niedersachsen.m3u
http://www.ndr.de/resources/me...3u/ndr1wellenord.m3u
http://www.ndr.de/resources/me.../m3u/ndr1radiomv.m3u
http://www.ndr.de/resources/me...n/audio/m3u/ndr2.m3u
http://www.ndr.de/resources/me...io/m3u/ndrkultur.m3u

You can try to add these through the vTuner web interface (Naim Radio Guide). At least this way you can listen to these stations although there is the small trouble to input the data manually.

Hi osprey,

thanks for your detailed analysis. I added some NDR stations.

We'll see how long it takes.
