Images of albums

I have converted all files to AIFF. Is it possible to show images of albums on iPad application N-Stream

Yes, there needs to be a file called FOLDER.JPG in every album folder.

The external "folder.jpg" files are only a workaround for music-formats, that can't hold metadata itself (e.g. WAV).

With AIFF you can store the metadata like covers, artist, album, ect. directly inside the music-file. I use it like that, and they show up in n-Stream.

Either way, you have to "fill in" the metadata from somewhere... it seems to be empty now?

This can be done with a audio-tag software, that looks up the metadata in databases from the internet, and saves it to the music-files.

What format did the music-files have, before you converted it?

With what have you converted it?

What OS do you use?

Also, I can see all images in my Finder on Mac, but on N-Stream isn't possible.

If you can see the individual covers on the icons of the music files in the finder, then they seem to be properly integrated. XLD has done that for me too, as I have converted WAV with folder.jpg to AIFF. Now you have to look elsewhere...

I guess it's a problem of the communication between the UPnP server and n-Stream:

Have a look at the UPnP server preferences, does it stream covers and in which size. Start a re-index of your changed music files in the UPnP server. Delete the caches in n-Serve and restart the app.

Do you use a UPnP server software directly on the Mac?

Which one?

Or a NAS?
