Naim and Qobuz

A while ago there was quite a bit of speculation about a tie-up between Naim and Qobuz, which would presumably allow for integrated and easy access to Qobuz streaming services on Naim streamers - like my SU. I'd be tempted by the hi-res version of Qobuz if this was all made easy to use and control via my iPad. But it all seems to have gone very quiet. Can anyone throw any light on this?

I'm using Qobuz now having moved from Spotify.  Qobuz on Squeezebox Touch via digital output into NDS. Sounds excellent.  Controlled on iPad with iPeng. Would be great to have it natively on NDS for when Squeezebox no longer working. Much better SQ than Spotify and seems less liable to dropouts though catalogue not yet as extensive (eg Sarah Connolly Das Lied von der Erde available on Spotify, not Qobuz). Also tad more expensive.

I suspect if it is going to happen then it is likely to be part of the Muso project (i.e. the possible onboard streaming music service).

Will be nice if Naim do get this on board. I have loved Spotify for at least 5 years, before many of my friends had heard of it.

The step up in sound quality is huge, even through my friends Sonos system. The difference through something like Naim or similar quality system should be massive.

Look forward to seeing if this progresses. Shame about the monthly charge though.....
