Hi
Can you please suggest some flute material for me. I love classical music, symphony, piano, violin, etc... But have nothing regarding flute.
maybe some other genre of music too that you think appropriate.
Many thanks in advance and enjoy you're weekend

This may lift your spirits flute-wise!
Jolly indeed is the Concerto called "Il Gardelino." Fresh and far too little known music.

Enjoy. It only a few minutes long, so not much time to loose!
ATB from George
PS: I have this venerable multi CD set [at budget price], which I thoroughly enjoy. A great wealth of rarely heard and delightful music.
Put Vivaldi Pinnock into the Amazon search engine and it shows near the top of the list.
Also consider Mozart's Harp and Flute Concerto as well as the delightful pair of solo Flute Concertos he composed.
ATB from George
I second George's recommendations, esp. Pinnock's vivacious Vivaldi recording.
Love the sound of Galway's gold flute , but never really liked his playing. My students find him rather irrascible.
CPE Bach has few worth exploring too. good stuff on Archiv
Sharon Bezaly well worth a listen - "Described by The Times as “God’s Gift to the flute“, Sharon Bezaly was chosen as ‘Instrumentalist of the Year’ by the prestigious Klassik Echo in Germany in 2002 and ‘Young Artist of the Year’ at the Cannes Classical Awards in 2003.
