Cure for Fault 36?

Anyone know if Naim are any closer to a permanent fix for Fault 36? My brand new NDS has this upon restart, which is starting to become pretty annoying.

Not had any issues yet, and hope it remains that way

+1. I had the fault 36 and contacted Phil who responded quickly. The mystery remains as to why there is no official cure.

New NDS delivered and installed today. Software version 3.23 BC SW 3D12943.50.

Latest SW on Update site is 3.22 so maybe this new firmware will resolve this issue.

Any clues emerged about the difference(s) between 3.22  &  3.23 ?

(Multiroom perhaps,  ultra high def file support perhaps,  display changes from green to white perhaps...)

None of the above I'm afraid but I've only had it a few hours.

Couldn't see from your profile whereabouts in the world your are heihei, but if this is a brand new one then you need to go talk to your dealer.

As you'll have read in the forums, not every NDS suffers from this problem (in fact it seems only a very few do).  If yours does, right out of the box, then your dealer should get involved !   If you live in the UK, talk to him nicely.  If you live in the US, take along your negotiating weapon of choice      But wherever you live, talk to your dealer - most of them are really nice guys (& girls) as you probably already know.
