Alien creator dead.

HR Giger has passed away, failed to recover from a fall at his home.
As a well known surrealist painter he created the Alien saris "monster", also provided the art for the cover of Emerson ,Lake and Palmer's Brain Salad Surgery album.
Weirdly, when I was 17, my Art teacher at school showed us some HR Giger Art before the A Levels as a form of inspiration. It was the first time I saw such art which could be considered dark and sexual of the fantasy genre.
I was somewhat taken back, but it proved inspirational in my case as I recieved an A in Art then when on to Art School. And now I still really like them, clearly very original at the time and the brilliant inspiration for the all time classic Ridley Scott SciFi/Horror film Alien.
I suspect he is now cavorting with naked biomechanical nyphs somewhere in the Universe.
