HDX Screensaver

Did a search on "HDX Screensaver" but nothing relevant.  Just got my HDX back from NAIM authorized service in the US.  They replaced the main drive (it's a 2x500Gb HDX) and updated the firmware to v1.7a SP1.  Since getting the unit back, the screensaver no longer works - it should turn off the display after the selected time - 1 min, 5 min, 15min or permanently on.  Well, mine is staying permanently on no matter what the setting.  The US service center think it a bug in v1.7a SP1.  Anyone else with this firmware having the same problem?

Interesting. My display goes off after a short interval. I'm running the same FW as you so I thought I'd check. There are no screensaver or display off options listed on my machine. I've got no control of the screen past external display colour and scroll drag mode. And screen cleaning mode. I hadn't noticed this until now because when I last updated the FW my screen behaved no differently.

Figured it out.  The "screensaver" now appears to be an attempt at a true screen saver - it moves the album cover to the center of the display and removes all text (not necessary with LCD or LED displays - just CRT and plasma displays).  To turn off the display, there's a separate option under screensaver ("Front Display Backlight") that you also set to 1min ,5min,15min or permanently on.

Turns out that the reason I couldn't find it was because I was trying to access it on a PC using the browser interface. When I went to the HDX and started stabbing the screen it was all there.
