Football Season 2014 - 2015

Posted by: Steve J on 18 May 2014

As requested here is the new season's thread.

Obviously the first picture has to be of the best team in the land winning 'last year's' Premier League title for the second time in 3 years.

At least the title stayed in Manchester Chris.

And from what "reliable" source did that information come from? He only signed a new 5 year contract in April. Agreed he could be on the way out before the start of next season but the club is calling the tune at the moment. We'll see what happens when the new manager is in place.

Dave

It was being reported on Sky Sports News

Sky Sports are reporting on their website he may have to force a transfer, i.e. put in a transfer request. Not quite the same as what you are implying.

But you may be right. :-)

A few years back that little toe rag Saha wanted a move to Man U. Spat his dummy out almost on a daily basis until he got what he wanted. If a player wants away the best thing is to boot him out the door ASAP and get as much for him as you can before he upsets the rest of the squad.

A few weeks ago he played at the cottage in a charity match, when interviewed the little S - - - started blabbering on about how much he enjoyed his time playing for Fulham. If that had been me i would not have let him near our ground ever again.

Message for Steve J....Found out this morningi need a 6 inch plate + 6 screws in r/h wrist.

Good luck with that Alan. It must be a pretty unstable wrist to require that metalwork.

I've heard similar reports of Joey Barton.  Can be nasty on the football pitch, and sometimes gets into trouble off it, but actually does a lot of charitable work behind-the-scenes and doesn't parade it.

Its just amazed me how far some fans nutters will travel to watch rubbish football. On the FFC website they are requesting us to vote for their...OVERSEAS FAN OF THE YEAR . I thought Mista Dolan was a bit of a basket case going up to watch Man U play every week, but i have just come across some real fruitcakes.  A good friend of mine is one of the 10 fans listed as he is a STH @ Fulham and comes over for every game from Brussels, but he is normal compared to 2 others. One guy lives in Frankfurt, but the biggest clown(STH) flies in from bloody Oslo for every game.

Do any of you know if their are any around more stupid than these 3 ?

Are you saying they are nutters for travelling so far to see FFC or long distance fans in general?

With the crap we had to put up with last season i admire them for their dedication, but i ask you would you fly over from Oslo sometimes twice a week to watch Fulham????

Also wondering what the guy does for a living,as with ad ons each trip over must come to a few bob.

Don't want to come over all cynical...but, let's be honest most footballers earning his salary would do the same, partly because they feel sorry for the family and (I suspect) fear of the negative media attention if he did not.

But good on him, doesn't make me feel Any different towards him though. Still just another overpaid footballer.

Big H anyone who lives outside the UK and comes to London for every home(and some away) games to watch the rubbish we have had to put up with last season IMHO needs sending to the funny farm.

Sky Sports reporting that Ronald Koeman is on the verge of becoming the new Soton manager. Is that a good or bad thing?

I'll tell you at the end of the season.

Alan Irvine appointed West Brom head coach. Put as much money as you can afford on us getting relegated next season. Absolutely gutted and fuming at this joke appointment.

So long as the appointment allows Shaw to leave it will be a good thing
