HDX Appropriate Touchscreen

I have recently purchased a Naim HDX and need advice on an appropriate linked touchscreen to use with it. I have read that only a few touchscreens work with the HDX, is this true?

Touchscreens that use the generic Windows touchscreen driver should be supported - we have tested the CTX 15" touchscreens and the smaller 7", 8" and 10" units as stocked by LinITX.com and they seem fine.
Some touchscreens emulate mice and those screens may work ... unfortunately there's no way to detect that they are touchscreens and because of that we cannot detect their presence and so cannot offer the calibration option - the result of that is if calibration is out then they cannot be recalibrated. We have found that this typically includes touchscreens from ELO.

In the future, it would be a good idea to include drivers for the Elo touchscreens within the embedded server OS–these are the most common industrial point-of-sale touchscreens on the market, and widely available through a variety of supply channels. Some touchscreens emulate mice and those screens may work ... unfortunately there's no way to detect that they are touchscreens and because of that we cannot detect their presence and so cannot offer the calibration option - the result of that is if calibration is out then they cannot be recalibrated. In the US, the CTX touchscreens are incredibly hard to find, and the five-wire resistive overlay doesn't respond nearly as well as the glass-screen, surface wave touch Elo units.
