Copy others hdd

Hi a friend as a better cd collection than me is it possible for me connect  an hdd to his pc,then copy it, Transfer the hdd to my PC then I have his collection .

Rupert it is clear that this is illegal as you were told in the other thread that you started.

Buy you CDs secondhand and build up your own collection.

This is the fourth time in the last couple of weeks that Rupert asks basically the same thing twice over in quick succession, at least they are different subjects each time. Rupert i don't know what territory you are in so can't advise on legalities but avoid file sharing if possible, especially with people who 'share' viruses! Scanning a large archive could take many hours by which time who knows
