DAB is all out there on the airwaves; it's not normally a problem on the receiver - U2

Its most likely you have an aerial problem.

What aerial do you have, where's it located, how is it connected to the U2.

Finally how far away is your local DAB transmitter?

hi, roof aerial, 2 years old, connected via a 2 way splitter, other for tv, transmitter only 5 miles away.

tv connection status shows signal strength 100 out of 100 and quality 97, can't get much better than that!

just rescanned again and now have 23 stations!

Hmm .?.?

Might be working on the transmitter & it's on low power or interrupted those services.

You can look on www to see if work is scheduled & for how long, then maybe try agin later

Yeah, but any idea why my unit finds 44 channels, but then doesn't list/show them all?

Sorry but I'm not familiar with the U2 or any of the Naim DAB stuff - I'm FM & iRadio on Naim

My kitchen DAB see's some far away stations in scan but will not load them I guess because of signal strength.

I just rescanned the Kitchen DAB,  it can see a lot of stations - maybe 60+ - but only loads the 31 stations that are available from from my local TX,  the others it sees during scanning are the same stations but from other transmitters.

I have 10 stations on the MUX called "BBC National DAB"

14 stations on "D1 National"

7 stations on the "Local" DAB MUX

You should have roughly the same, for sure 10 on the BBC & about 12 to 15 on D1, the rest is your local area MUX

You can see what should be on air if you search http://www.ukfree.tv/dabtx.php?tx & go to your area transmitter.  If you have a whole MUX missing from your DAB stored stations it will be low power or off air for work on the TX.

It's all a bit weird, checks on transmitters etc show no problems, I haven't even got radio1 in my 23!

i do get the local dab mux channels

thanks anyway for your help/advice
