I have the Unitiserve 2TB. When I opened the desktop client on my PC and go to the music library, there is a list that includes artists, albums, people, etc. with a + sign by each one. When I click on the choices, nothing happens. My computer is seeing the Unitiserve and I can also see all the contents on my iPhone.
This is a new issue--no problem before now. Would appreciate any advice.

You're right, of course, halibut that the desktop client is redundant for the most part. It's just that, up until now, I could see my music library on the DTC and now I can't because nothing happens when I click on the + signs.. Guess I'm a perfectionist (or maybe a little compulsive) but I am trying to figure out why this happened and how to fix it.

I'd start with uninstalling and reinstalling the DTC software.
I use mostly n-Serve for OS X. Occasionally n-Serve for iOS (to check if new additions are in the database, or tidy up a little metadata). DTC -- never use it, really.

Have you tried re-scanning ALL the music folders and stores too?
I had roughly what you describe with an HDX recently - a rescan fixed it.
Now ask me "why did this happen?"... Answer - it's a computer under the covers... 'nuff said ? (death, taxes and computer failures)

Thanks rj. If you'll excuse a newbie question, how do you rescan all the music folders and stores? If I go to "music repositories" >stores for ripped music, there is a list of all my music and a menu on the right that has "rescan store" as one of the choices--but that choice is grayed out. Maybe that's not the right way to do it.

Thanks againt to those who responded. The guys at Naim suggested deleting something in regedit to address my problem. They even offered to access my computer and do it for me. While I'm kind of a computer novice, I tried it myself. It was easy, took about two minutes, and resolved the problem. I'm very impressed with the tech support at Naim as well as with the product. It's great to know that, if any issues occur, there is help available.
