& the merger with Focal accordion to this short review for the upcoming Muso:

"Naim audio was founded in 1973 and are located in Salisbury, United Kingdom. They specialise in manufacturing hi-fi equipment and became successful after merging with the French company Focal-JMLab in 2011 who were already experienced in selling high fidelity audio systems."

Bloody iPad auto correct!

Audio was meant to be typed.

Just amused me that the review says that Naim have only been successful since the merger.

From what he is saying,I think it may well be that more people have heard of us now ( streaming products perhaps), as for Focal being succesful, they are, they are more than twice our size and have global success with speakers designs,  in the UK they are growing fast and are  already bigger than many of our small UK brands on speakers, the new Aria especially is doing very well.

We all wish Naim and Focal the very best.

I still think they should have called themselves Faim.  With the adverts featuring " Faim, the musical"

Well, it's much much better than Focaim.  That would have been a disaster and could get me banned to boot.

Just comes across a bit 'until Focal' nobody had really heard of Naim. Which is odd really. Well in audio circles* anyway.
