New/Updated Desktop client for HDX

Hi, could anyone please advise the likely timescales for an improved client for the HDX - the existing one is really clunky and doesnt match the quality of the brand Thanks in advance Jeff

We are not working on an updated Desktop Client at this time - the aim is to have all the functionality of the DTC available from the front panel GUI or the web interface so that it is usable by anything that can run a flash capable browser.

Cheers

Hi Phil, thanks - does that mean no updated interface for the ipad app or iphone app then ?

When you say Web interface what do you mean?

Thanks in advance

Guys, really appreciate the help but I am really not getting this at all. I have an HDX and can access it via the Ipad aand the PC via the DTC.

The Ipad interface isnt great and I was wondering if there was a new versin coming along in the near future.

Alan mentiones a Web browser which duplicates the screen on the front of the HDX? Where do I get this please and is this what i might be missing?

I have the DTC on the PC working but again this is really clunky and works only some of the time, at best its flakey and not a proper user interface in my humble opinion.

Sorry if I am missing sometrhing but I am just looking for the best most simple interfacet o operate the HDX from my armchair preferably the Ipad.

Any help to cleasr up my muddled thinking most appeciated.

The ipad has a proper app which you are probably using.

You can access the HDX via any browser on the network such as firefox or what ever by typing in the IP address of the HDX, this can be found in the GUI of the HDX somewhere.

Jeff , I use the DTC on my laptop, and it is faultless. Could it be your PC at fault or your network?.
