"A little update regarding the forthcoming show.
The plan is for Naim to bring along the Statement with some Focal Grande Utopia loudspeakers.
This very Statement has just left Hong Kong and is now in Taipei, Taiwan for the TAA International High End Show 14-17 August. Next stop is Salisbury where it should be readied for Audio Show East in Ipswich. Yikes. Major league

There is a free raffle prize of a mu-so for one of the visitors, so please register your interest and come along!
Besides Naim, there are quite a few significant brands due to be present.
The address is:
Trinity Events Centre, Trinity Park, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich IP3 8UH
please email us directly or telephone if you would like to register.
The opening times are:
12.00 until 18.00 on Friday 29th

Looks like it was a great show, and I'd loved to have been there. My wife is almost 38 weeks pregnant, and the prospect of being a two hour drive away from her (incase the baby decided) utimately led to a head over heart decision of not being able to make it.
Alas, the Statement demo alludes me...
On the flip side, it wasn't bad as I spent saturday listening to the Vitus in Class A, which was rather magical

Nail - hammer - head. In the Kudos room we listened to Jennifer Warnes, Ricki Lee, Pink F - not one really cared that it was a Linn-Kudos configuration the music was amazing!!!!

Oh they're all 'coming out' now!
It kind of vindicates Derek's desire not to be seen as only an adjunct to Naim. We know that bi-amping with Akurate is pretty good with the Titans. Going the extra distance and bi-amping with four monoblocs is clearly very effective. And then add the £ gazillions worth of Sarum STA.
Apart from our own dem leads, the swines took it all back, I did check the bins just in case

All part of our leaner, svelter aspirations, Simon.

Or just us being mean.
I think this was the transition year from birthday event to proper, albeit quite bijoux, audio show. At least we covered the teas and coffees. Hope you enjoyed it. Sorry I barely got a chance to speak to you.

Alastair I certainly enjoyed it and Joe found it 'tolerable' until I started gassing with John Dawson
.. Personally my highlight ...
The work you and Andy have put in has certainly paid off... So in Suffolk now we have the Suffolk Show, Latitude Festival and the Signals Hifi Show... Great stuff
