Computer died

Laptop switched itself off as cable was unplugged and battery low. Plugged cable in and switched on. Then logged on. 30 seconds later it switches itself off. Same happened a minute later.

Left it for ten minutes. No joy. No light showing on laptop. Only light showing on power supply/cable.

For past few months has been freezing often.

Windows or Mac?

Sounds like it's finally died given the freezing over the last few months. You could take it to a computer repair centre but it may be more cost effective to buy a new one if you've had it a long time.

Took battery out and plugged in. Came on okay. 2 min late I move it slightly and it goes off again. Re connect cable properly and it comes on again for 2 seconds and then switches off again. Now nothing. Guess I will take to internet cafe/repair centre to get inspected on Sunday.

It's come alive. Left laptop switched off and plugged in to the mains. Came on okay this morning. Been on now for half an hour.

But battery not fully recharged yet. I'll take it to internet cafe as it sounds like it needs a bit of TLC.
