Uniti product gap

Am I alone in thinking Naim has a product gap between the unitilite/unitiqute and the uniti2?

I have a unitiqute and it is a great system, but a couple of years after purchasing I am tempted to use it as a second room system and purchase something with a higher spec.  However the unitilite seems like a sideways move (mainly paying for a CD player I don't require) and then the uniti 2 is quite a bit more expensive.

For customers / potential customers that don't need/want a CD player a version of the uniti 2 without a CD player costing say ~£2000 seems like a sensible addition to the product line up.  What do others think?

I think Naim already make too many products. Just save up and get a SuperUniti.

The Uniti2 EX (dem) is about that price with a free built-in CD player
