An Illusion

This may have been shown on here before, I'm not sure.
The trick with the coins is very good sleight of hand I think, but the arm through the glass table top at 5m 25s is harder to work out. Anyone know how it's done? If you're going to give it a look please try and ignore the green dress and concentrate on the illusion.

Weird - I had the explanation but it kept disappearing. Magic?
There also seems to be a disclosure on the 3 coins into 2 part of the coin-through-glass trick.
There's a part of me that wants to know and a, bigger, part that enjoys magic for the sense of wonder it can induce.

Excellent - Chinese magic with American money. That's illusion and irony - the American government has been performing fiscal sleight-of-hand with Chinese money for years.

It looked like he might have flicked the coin, so it bounced of his shirt and back into the pot.

I love this sort of stuff and even after seeing how it's done I love it even more. It's all based on our poor powers of observation and the practical skills and ingenuity of the magician and HIS TEAM.
Watch stuff like "Magic's greatest secrets exposed" and marvel at how simple the illusions often are when there's a talented team working there. A team often including a TV crew who are in on it.
On occasion I've seen close up card tricks, three cups etc in person and that's really impressive. I was at a TV recording many years ago and sat about six feet just behind and to the right of the simplest cups and ball trick. Literally six feet away, I could see the insides of his hands and saw him flicking the ball in a way that wouldn't have been seen from the front. Caught you I thought but when he lifted the cups the ball wasn't where I'd clearly seen him putting it. Fantastic stuff and I love it.
Never forget it's a con. Props, phoney bits, coins with holes in them, a con. But no less enjoyable for that.
