Will New North American Distribution fix Chicago's NAIM resellers?

Posted by: Yeast on 25 July 2014

Knowing Focal is handling  Naim now in North America, I am wondering if Naim will be represented in the Chicago market with polite and caring marketers. This has been lacking over the past several years, though we do have one relatively new "by appointment" option. If they retain AV options as a service center, and add one Excellent hi-end Focal representative in the northern suburbs, it is very possible Naim can regain a major interest in the Chicago market. The Audio shop I am thinking of has superb a reputation and many of the finest lines including Focal and Dynaudio, but they lack a quality "Streaming and Server" product range. Naim would fix this. I'm hoping.

Focal is not distributing Naim in North America.  Read Manu's post(s) in this thread:  https://forums.naimaudio.com/to...ican-distributorship

The distributor will not tell a store what to display, what to stock, etc.  Such is the nature of the relationship.

And no, current Focal dealers will not automatically become Naim dealers.  Or vice versa.

I think it's all addressed in the thread I pointed to.
