Fiio X5

Anyone using this player? Impressions?

I want to take my entire CD collection on the road this summer, it's almost 1TB in FLACs, will fit the 256GB current limit of Fiio X5 as 320kbps MP3s. And after larger memory cards become available one day I should be able to actually fit the original FLACs (not that it should make much difference in the noisy environment and the horrible sound quality of Mazda 6 III gen audio system). Very few portable players support such large storage, so I'm really limited in my options...

Any recommendations welcome!

I can't discern the difference between 256kbps AAC and Apple Lossless in my car (a BMW standard audio system).

I've never tried to 'get it all' onto one device.  I used to keep an iPod Classic in my car, but now I'm content with a little 64gb teeny tiny thumb drive in the car.

Problem with Mazda 6 system is that with a 64GB thumb drive it takes something like 20 minutes to read in its table of contents... Also it won't recognize memory sticks larger than 64GB. So the only usable option for larger libraries is to use its analogue AUX input and some external player like iBasso or Fiio.
