Led Zeppelin Remastered

Good day, has anyone else noticed an anomaly with the remastered Led Zeppelin CD? The left and right channels appear to have been swapped. I noticed this on the first track Good Times Bad Times. At the commencement of the opening bars the hi-hat is coming from right channel, however on the original recording it appears from the left channel! Comments Jimmy?

There were 2 different versions of the original disc. One had the channels swapped and the other didn't. No one seems to know which is right and which is wrong.

I can't find the link right now but Jimmy Page has gone on record [sic] as saying that the current version is "correct". Apparently the channels in a few albums got "switched" somehow in the 1990s.

 

So, the Marino-Pages are "wrong", the Diaments and the current crop are "right". But I suppose the "right" one is the one you prefer the sound of.

Apparently even some of the Diament ones had reversed channels.
