I tried Mrs Mikes little ScanDisk MP3 player into the NDX USB - it said no connection & something about unknown device.
Not a problem as she normally plays it into the 3.5 mini plug on the Supernait front panel, but would be nice to have it into the NDX if for nothing else it charges while playing.
Anyone have ideas if there is a work-a-round ????

USB Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) may be enabled by default on the player (a la Windows PlaysForSure), rather than USB Mass Storage Class (MSC). You need to change the settings on the player itself, after which the Uniti / NDx should recognize the device correctly.

Thanks David, that worked. It was on auto detect & I had assumed this was the way to get it to detect select & play MTP or MCS.
The menu view & select on nStream is a bit messy, but if it gives the Director of Domestic Engineering another means of playing her stuff, it can't be bad.
