Preferred the look and feel of the old version can I roll it back probably not, thankfully have two iPads the second one won't be getting the upgrade.

Playlists are fine here.

Also, sad that you don't get a Play button when you choose an album. You have to open a list of options.

I hope someone in Salisbury is getting all this!

Hi foxman 50,

As Andy out of little Britain says.
A don't like it.

I'm using the same upnp software on the same server as usual, the only change is the software

Its very different at the moment and will take some time to get used but then you would expect that.

Ignore me, a carbon unit error in that I pointed it at the wrong server, and even worse, I pointed it at a server that was switched off!  Now pointing at my Assertnas and it is showing all music, album art and playlists appear to be working.  Looks rather nice in fact and I will have a play with it tonight although its clearly not idiot proof!

Hi Scott

The book brings up the rovi album info. Old nstream showed the stream info as in wav, flac etc and file resolution. Or are you still seeing this

Hi foxman50,KRM,
When I tap the book the page jumps to the album info as you suggest.what I see on top left is album details with a arrow.if you tap on this it goes back a page to the info you are both looking for.info only shows when track is playing.

Lost interest in it totally. Turned Qute off and gone back to Mcintosh headphone amp, as a comparison look at the Mcintosh AP1 app to see how it could be done (it even has the green highlights). Seriously Naim, is this really the best you could come up with? I feel fairly cheated and I only own a little Qute, if I still had the NDS, I think I would be feeling a little short changed right now.

Tried to add another album to end of the play queue and now the app keeps crashing my ipad.

Posted on: 22 September 2014 by Harry

Massive fail from my POV. Navigation less intuitive. Volume and mute mostly unavailable in the app. Full screen layout means time and battery remaining are not visible. Sorry Naim, I think it's rubbish. Did you bother to look at Kinsky, iTunes and Sonus? The latter in particular is an object lesson in intelligent simplicity. Stop pratting about trying to be clever. You have fallen on your arse.

What improvements have you noticed. The only one i can find is that i can change track by swiping from right to left.

My qute2 has 2 enabled inputs, UPNP, and Dig2 for audio from DVD.

i cannot get the app to STOP playing from the Dig2 (DVD) input even when I attempt to select UPNP, this is bloody annoying! It won't accept UPNP until I actually play something from the server, then pause, to get the silence I wanted by deselecting DVD input. Can anyone get round this?

Posted on: 22 September 2014 by sjbabbey

If I tap on the icon in the top left corner of the main screen the app crashes and I get a black screen with the Apple logo so I assume it's crashing when it should be navigating back to my last upnp view.

Looks like the new app is unusable for me.

Can someone post a few screen shots please? I'm working away from home at present so can't try it out until the weekend. Thanks

The format shows in the little book. But if you are looking for other albums, while playing something else, you can't see the format, as their book (while not playing) always says 44, rather than 96 or 192. It's not a big issue, but it would be nice to know.

I am not happy, again cover photos not in good resolution. No info about stream 44 or 96 or 192. No Rovi info at all does not work. Please Naim I am not happy give us the change to go back and I will wait till all this problems will be solved to download again.
