BT Mail problems

I woke this morning to find that I couldn't receive emails via my BT email account on my iPhone or iPad. It was the same for my wife. I checked my settings and tried to log directly onto my BT account where it informed me my email account wasn't accessible. It was only when I opened the Help tab that a popup window informed me there was a problem being dealt with by the engineers.
I am posting this to let others who are having problems today with BT Mail not to bother wasting time trying to rectify the problem on their own.
