Naim App 4.1
Posted by: Stann on 09 October 2014
Has anyone had problems with the Album artwork. Since installing ios 8.0.2 on the ipad mini and updating the Naim app to 4.1 the artwork has screwed up, When attempting to get the correct album artwork by choosing "Not this album?" all I get is a thick white bar. Is this a bug?
Thanks

Hmm, I get that too.
Me too when can we expect 4.2?

Same here, wrong guess by rovi results in thick white line, no way to enter text or initiate a search.

This is not an issue with the album artwork on one's home server, but with Rovi, right?
I believe so Bart, my artwork is right but Rovi has always got info wrong (as most of my metadata is stripped out) but I have always been able to use the search bar if I want Rovi functionality, no longer it seems.
I must say that Rovi always works for me - at least it did until the new app appeared- I was simply checking for the OP.
I reported the Rovi problem to tech support early yesterday morning. In addition to the "not this album" bug the Rovi search function (magnifying glass icon) does not work.

Yes, just found this too.. Grr it worked in 4.0
This crossed my mind too, perhaps if Naim would care to share their test suite, we could suggest regression tests to include if they need help on VV&T methodology and application.

I have this too. Don't use Rovi much but at least it worked before.
I can confirm that Rovi is now much less adept at bringing up the right info that it's ever been before for me. I used to 'get it right' 99% of the time for me. It's now right maybe 60% of the time.
