Prince's recent releases

Hi everyone,

I used to be a big Prince fan, but don't have much of his work since the AFKAP Symbol album.

'Purple Rain', 'Parade', and 'Sign o' the Times' are among my favourites of all time, but since the 'Symbol' album I only have 'Come', 'Chaos and disorder', 'The Gold Experience', 'Emancipation' and the 'Earth' albums. Some of them have their moments, but are not in the same league as some of his earlier work.

I received an e-mail from, HMV informing me of a new release, 'Art official Age', but don't know whether to indulge. I wonder whether his output has improved after re-signing with Warner's.

Any advice would be appreciated.

regards,

Schizo

I haven't heard them but all the reviews I've seen have been so-so - more of the same, basically.

Thanks Philip,

If nobody says anything different, I will give 'Art Official Age' a miss.

you can listen to some of the tracks online.

you could also take a chance and buy an album by an artist who

has released some of your all time favourite music. maybe you'll like it.

he is a pretty amazing artist on many levels, he at least deserves a listen.
