Naim Desktop Client Issue

I seem to having problems with communication between my computer running Naim Desktop Client and my HDX. I keep getting the following dialog box message : Unable to retrieve system status. The server did not respond time, or is unavailable. This occurs every couple of minutes leaving me with numerous dialog boxes to close. Is the problem with my over mains network system, my router or the computer itself? Any ideas would be welcome as at the moment the system down more than functioning.

Certainly sounds like there's a problem with the network connection between your PC and the HDX dropping out - I'd try wiring the PC and HDX direct to your router as a test and make sure that you don't have any problems that way (you shouldn't) - the Ethernet over Mains units really were only suggested as a way of getting an HDX onto a network for doing lookups...
