HDX with MuSO?

Evenin' all:

Forgive my ignorance of all matters streaming (and most matters network).  I've had a good life listening to some quite good quality Hi-Fi but life's priorities change and I see that the MuSO may be a good solution to my future needs.  Currently have an HDX/252/SC/250.2 with Aerial 5B speakers.  Would like to keep my HDX but wonder if the HDX/MuSo combination is workable?  Would these be connected directly or over the network?  Any issues to getting this combo working together.  Dealer is a non-starter - he knows nothing about streaming and hadn't even heard of the MuSo!

I have an even thornier problem coming up next but will wait to see how the responses to this request are before burdening the forum members with that one!

Thanks,

Keith

Yes, I was aware of the recoding circuit difference between the Supernait1 and 2.  General consensus appears that the SN2 is a sonic improvement over the SN1 but it's substantially more expensive on the used market (I buy all my non-mechanical stuff used).

Do you know anything about the wireless on the MuSo - b/g vs b/g/n or are they considered the same now on the 2.4GHz frequency band?

It's all about the editing workflow.

The point is that one can use an external ADC to digitize the phono signal, while simultaneously monitoring its (digitized) output through the SuperNait mk I's internal DAC (to 192 kHz) - very useful if you are topping-or-tailing the files in the digital domain (say, at a computer) as you complete each album side, while recording the next side...and you can do this with a pair of headphones.

It's also useful to establish a maximum level of gain, if your ADC has an input trim control, as you'll easily be able to determine whether any distortion arises as a consequence of analog clipping or its digital equivalent.
