App problems with iPad Air 2

Posted by: Graber on 02 November 2014

Hi

Since changing from an iPad Air to the newer iPad Air 2 the naim app doesn't display the content of my streaming server anymore. When connecting to the server (Synology DS214 play), the app seems to be searching the content endlessly without result. Although the app/UnitiQute 2 'sees' the server, it somehow does not 'see' what's on it.

Connecting with the iPhone 5S, iOS7 works without problem.

Any suggestions? Is it a known issue of the app running on iOS8?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Jan,

Also an iPad Air 2 here. However, I'm using the n-Serve app without any problems here, seems that I've got even a faster response than my older iPad 2...

Sorry I can't be of any assistance...

Regards,

Michel

Ditto - running iPad Air 2, iOS8, no problems at all with n-serve thankfully.

Hi

Thanks a lot, but I haven't been clear enough: I didn't mean the n-serve app but the other naim app to control the UnitiQute.

Solved it! - switched on compatibility mode, now it seems to be working fine - although and unfortunately without the additional functionality of play queues and playlists. :-(

with my old ipad air and iOS 7, I didn't need to run the app in compatibility mode. iOS8 kind of sucks.

Thanks again for the helping hand.
