Harry Pearson, The Absolute Sound

I have read Absolute Sound since the mid-80's.  I rarely agreed with Mr Pearson, and often thought him overblown and and self-indulgent, but I respected his journal and he had an amazing way with words.  The closest to that style currently (and once an employee at AS) is Art Dudley.  I learned a great deal from his writings.  RIP HP
