App and iOS8 problems solved.

Finally managed to solve all my app. and iOS8 problems that many other streamer users have had. My NAC 172XS has gone. It's been replace with a Sonos Connect and a Graham Slee Majestic DAC. Now I have something that works all the time and has a noticeable sound improvement. Thank goodness I didn't invest in any other Naim equipment.

That seems a very strange post to put onto a Naim forum.  Particularly as

1   after the NA 172 developed a fault it was replaced

2   rather than using the matching Naim NAP155 XS power amp you used Audiolab and compromised the system sound balance

3   the only problem you reported with the iOS app was missing artwork

4   if the common element in the problems is iOS8, then that is probably where the problem lies.

 

It's entirely your right to go away should you wish, but please don't denigrate all Naim products without proper investigation.
