Trying to get Spotify Premium

Posted by: BigH47 on 11 December 2014

To use the Spotify facility on our Mu-So it appears one needs Spotify Premium. From the Spotify web site there is a but one month get 2 free offers.

When I try to get this I get a message banner

"It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase....."

I can't find any restrictions listed anywhere.

Any ideas?

I get that too. I've had a couple of free trials before from Spotify and I thought that might be the reason why.

This is what the website says:

Only premium has the Connect facility, which is what you need. The Premium offer seems to be a free month, while the buy one get two free seems to be when you upgrade from the standard service. I'm not sure, as it's not very clear.

What I find really clever is that you can download albums to the iPhone and then play them in the car via Bluetooth.

Thanks HH.

I didn't see that banner on iMac using Firefox. I have had free trials before, so I might have to get the mrs to sign up. I don't think we would use it enough for £10 a month outlay, we'll see.

It's funny, isn't it, that we spend thousands on the Hifi and baulk at £10 per month. I have the same dilemma.
