Ok  I understand , muchy more users with Spotify so a larger market , but I bought Naim NDX also for the great quality , when I begin to stream with Spotify , is this not a step backwards ?   Qobuz is streaming Cd quality or FLAC , on my NAS it is also FLAC quality.  You see what i mean ?  Will we hear the difference when playing music with NDX from my NAS  AND   playing/streaming from Spotify on 320 kbs ?   Sorry for my English , I'm from Belgium ...

Qobuz is under “suavegarde”  a form of financial safeguard during the period has been given to resolve its financial problems.    One reason I would guess why Naim would not want to put resources into Qobuz.

I would expect that more services will be added over time, & with better sound quality codec

Mike - yes the re financing window completes within the next couple of weeks. The recent investment in starting to overhaul their client software and some recent marketing promo events in Paris tends to imply they have a new finance model... possibly.

Interesting that I am seeing some new streamer vendors incorporating the Qobuz capability in their products now - hopefully only a matter of time for Naim.

Lets hope Spotify continues as well in its current form - I hear they are not making money either - and don't have a download business to support streaming - although they clearly have a huge customer base.

I suspect that some of these integrations were set in motion relatively long ago -- when Qobuz was a hot commodity and wasn't having such financial issues.
