Naim + Spotify Premium only?

hi, I installed the 4.1 Update on my unitilite, updated my iPad & Android, but spotify works only via AirPlay and the digital input. The naim spotify Input says only: want to connect to Spotify App. Means: Streaming does not go directly to the naim. The hint in one reply Said: activate the small LouDSp. Button Right on the spotify App, but then this app tells me, cannot connect to Other devices, if not Premium available. True? Test Period Possible?
Not being a Spotify guru (or even serious user), I had same problem as BR. Then discovered you need to have Premium & it all works 
Have signed up for the 3mths for the price of one trial.
So instead of a few hundred thousand tracks, I now have a few million at my disposal, hmmm.
I'm one of those "like to own the asset" users trying to drag himself into the 22nd century model of music distribution...hmmm.
So I have 3 months to get up to speed with this 'streaming' way of life, and then it's full steam (and £10/month) ahead..... hmmmm
