Posted by: PBenny1066 on 20 December 2014

Hello all,

purchased a a my so yesterday, and before I could set it up, my phone &!internet cable has been dug up by the builders !...... So no internet connection.  Writing this over 3G.....

so so my question is, is it possible to get any sound out of it until my internet can be reinstated after Xmas ?  Have tried pairing with Bluetooth to iPhone 4s but the phone can't even see the my so.

Also tried plugging in iPhone to usb socket, and playing  music files on the iPhone......  but only silence.

Any help gratefully received.....

Do you have any music on a USB stick.

could try this into the muso.

is the unit set up on your network?

do you have an iPad that connects to the muso?

Unit has not been set up on network, because my network is down.

Strange, in the shop  I paired the iPhone with the muso using Bluetooth very easily - but can't do it with the unit at home.

Loss of internet externally is a dIfferent matter to your own house network, which should still be operational and able to connect your mu-so.

Hi Cbr600,

thsnks - after much fiddling around have indeed got it connected to the wifi network, albeit without any internet. But still can't resolve :

- Bluetooth ,neither iPhone or iPad  can even discover muso.

- USB, neither iphone or iPad can connect using usb cable.

- remote control not working. I can't even figure out how to get the battery cover off without f---ing up the casing.

Have I got a duff unit ?

Did you call the support line?

As per instructions. Remote will not be working until you remove the plastic battery cover. On rear of remote, there is a little slot. Push this in with something like a pin, and the battery cover will slide down.

Have you followed the instructions to set up the mu-so, with the colour of the blinking light, etc?

With the Bluetooth discovery problem make sure you haven't selected 'Secure Bluetooth' in error on the naim app. Here is a link to the topic on the interactive mu-so support guide https://m-naim-tmtx.tmti.net/e...isable_a_secure.html
