Thanks Graeme.
Great version of 'Don't Give Up'.
Nice recording too.

Thank you and Happy Christmas.
Can you tell where to find the download? I can't seem to find it on the B&W site or society of sound.

should work I have downloaded and it sounds great, not a huge fan but the HiRes quality is apparent a good recording
Cheers Dan, you're the man.
Cheers, that was great
Sorry folks - I would have posted the link but thought I would breach Forum Rules.
Enjoy,
G
I do like PG & this is a nice reminder of the gig
I've also experimented with it to recheck my file format preferences (again)
.flac as downloaded
.flac with no compression
.flac transcoded to .wav
.wav (all my albums are .wav)
.wav gets my vote agin -- a touch more detail overall, air/space in treble & firmer bass
Cheers Dan, you're the man.
Yeah thanks very much. I couldn't find it without the link.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Thanks Graeme for this info. I too have downloaded the Peter Gabriel live EP and it is very good. (I even joined the members club)
I think the sound quality is shockingly poor. Good thing it didn't cost anything.
Amazon just delivered my BluRay of the whole Back to Front Live in London concert. I've ripped to 24/96 WAV (using DVD Audio Extractor), and am listening to this right now. It certainly sounds very good, and includes the complete live version of the 'So' album.
Will try some A-B SQ comparisons with the 'freebie' B&W tracks later......
ATB. George.
I know numbers aren't the full story but the audio on the PG Back to Front London concert seems to be overly compressed (album DR9) with "Red Rain" clocking up a miserly DR6.
The Prague concert seems to fare better (DR14) but even that seems to be recorded "hot" especially PG's vocals.
I think the sound quality is shockingly poor. Good thing it didn't cost anything.
I thought it was just me. Compressed and muddy.
I think it's compressed to hell. Very poor show for B&W SOS and a reminder - as if any of us really needed it - that you can't polish a sonic turd no matter what the bit depth or sample rate.
