Is it possible to turn the mu-so LED off?

Hi,

Mu-so - love it. It's in the bedroom and the LED at the side is very bright in a dark room. Is it possible to turn this off?

I don't think you can, Deepinsight. No LED means device off or asleep. A lateral thought- try a strategically placed book or some blue glass? I love Mu-so too, just coming to terms with all the possibilities.

I also wish that you could complet off all LED. In the bedroom, it is distracting. Maybe this can be with an update enable?

Just stick something over it. It indicates connectivity with the WiFi so if you turn it off you'll have to reconnect via the app.

There's a product called LightDims on Amazon.  I used them on all our bedroom electronics to knock down the light output.  Easy to peel and stick with a variety of shapes.  Cheap too.

You can put the unit in to 'Deep Sleep' by holding down the power button on the mu-so remote or jog dial for a few seconds. This turns off the led on the side and dims the jog dial power icon. To wake you have to use the remote or jog dial as the unit won't be connected to your network at that point.

Duct tape would work and match well enough that you would not see it.  Also cheap.

If you have not tried it, we use a lot of duct tape in the US, to great effect.

Indeed Skip.

Duct tape and vise-grips should be considered indispensable in any handyman's tool box. I think either could be used effectively to dim the LED.
