On CD.  Why?  Because it's the xmas holidays and also because it's not only a fabulous performance but also a top notch recording too.

This is quite wonderful - and was once on CD.

Agreed. I remember being awestruck when I heard Bernarda Fink sing her big solo in this recording, and have been a fan since - nobody else comes close.

Why isn't this available as HD download from naimlabel? It's to good to be limited to Spotify.

This is great music, I would call it ambient, but very nice...

Another fabulous classic Blue Note reissue from Music Matters 2014 33rpm series.

Have you tried his earlier albums like the Road to St Ives, Private City, Withholding Pattern and A Biography of the Rev Absalom Dawe - they are superb? I have seen him doing this stuff live several times, one man show but lots of sounds using woodwind and electronics.

Love the film - amazing true story - and this soundtrack is great. Eddie's voice is somewhat special.

On vinyl - the new Thom Yorke.....

This album was not released by Naim for some reason but came out on Eagle Rock.

An extremely eclectic compilation from Trunk Records, on CD. A random pick off the shelves:

I haven't looked into his earlier albums will definitely do so - it's great music, so if his earlier albums are of similar quality I am all in...

The first of an excellent trilogy, and one of the jazz greats. Of all the issues I have at home it's the original 7 1/2 ips reel that I turn to as my favourite.  To try to help preserve it I recorded it to a digital 24bit 96kHz file and it came out sounding really good.  Listening to it right now...

Live at the Academy Of Music 1971 [4CD/1DVD]

Appropriate today

One of my fave Charles Lloyd albums on ECM. Mellow music. With Bobo Stenson on piano. Notes from Big Sur released back in 1992.

The music and SQ of this CD is fantastic

The oft-combined requiems of FaurĂ© and DuruflĂ© performed as originally intended, with organ replacing the orchestra. Hearing the organ's lowest octaves, softly played, filling the living room, and then start shaking the (hard wood fixed to concrete) floor at the outbursts remains pure joy and a great party trick for people who've never experienced a high-end system. Performance is very good, and Bis excelled themselves in the sound department.
