Legendary Black Sabbath founder member and lead guitarist Tony Iommi together with rock vocalist Glen Hughes make this a really enjoyable album, well worth playing if you have never heard it before.

Hi Steve

Good choice and great album. I have been a Sabbath fan since I was at school and always loved Tony's sound.

Hi Russell

Not seen you here much of late, hope all is ok with you. I agree about the Iommi sound I have always loved the way he plays. I haven't heard his first solo album "Iommi" I must see if its available on Spotify.

I've always preferred his early work. Among other attributes on Hunky Dory I think the piano playing on it is superb.

Me too. This is a favourite. And Ziggy, of course.

Yes, winky. Ziggy is my next best too.

Prompted by several others playing this over recent days. When I start playing Looking For Someone I always seem to keep nudging up the volume.  By the time I've got to White Mountains the volume level seems about right. And what a great finale with The Knife?  The climax always gives me goosebumps. One of those albums that just seems to draw you further and further in.

My most played Genesis album by a mile.  The gulf between this and From Genesis To Revelation is huge.  I never tire of this one and as you say, The Knife is a stunning way to close the album.
