Marillion ~ Brave (1994)
CD 1 of 2 from this 1998 24 bit digital remaster. Sounding good enough to buy again in this expanded and reworked deluxe format.
For me unknown music, while I guess I have it somewhere else in my collection. But it's beautiful

An astonishing and brilliant psychedelic album - I don't think there's anything like it. It might just be the GD album I would keep if I was forced to get rid of all the others!
I gave this album a spin, because i wanted to hear:
track; 1. That's it for the Other One, and track 2, New Potato Carboose - which both appear on the 2014 release of GD vinyl 4 x LP set called, 'Two From The Vaults' which also consists of 1968 recordings from the Shrine Auditorium (Los Angeles). I don't know if they are exactly the same recordings or different out-take versions but i have the 'Vaults One' 3 x LP set which is dead 100% brilliant, and have heard well recommended reports of the new 'Vaults Two' ...so i've ordered:
My vinyl set has been despatched
and should arrive here before the weekend
Also, i see on Amazon; 'Three From The Vaults' set is available on CD and Download, so i expect the vinyl won't be far behind to complete the trilogy.
Debs
Hi Debs
Anthem of the Sun is a collage of live and studio material and even the live recordings - I think from early in 1968 - were patched together from a variety of concerts in shaping the finished album. Two from the Vault is from the summer of 1968 and further tracks from that concert are the bonus material on that CD version of Anthem of the Sun that you have used for your image. In addition the bonus material appears in a CD box set of all three Vault concerts - they were gathered together and possibly remastered after their original release as single sets. I got the vinyl version of Two from the Vault and it is very good, but unfortunately the beginning of Dark Star has some surface noise. I am sure you will enjoy it!

I quite like La Note, Gian. Very Noir. After PFM in the 70's, I lost track of Italian rock altogether and Ramazzotti was never my cup of tea(or espresso).
Thank you for posting.

Thank you Tony. When i find some good italian records i like to let other people know about it. It's not because they're italians but because a good record is a good record. Of course it's my opinion and i'm nobody.
I'm not making reviews but it's that bad habit to make copies......

Genesis Revisited - Live at Hammersmith, Steve Hackett
This was lent to me by a friend. It's a nice refreshing reminder of music I have loved, left behind and rediscovered. I am currently soaking in the joy of this rebirth!
