Not the best of sound quality but here's a clip of Tony in his pre Earth and Black Sabbath days playing in Mythology with Bill Ward.  He was a heck of blues guitarist in those days.

He was, and is, a fine guitarist.  I'm listening to the Mob Rules in homage

Philips France 5000 numbered limited Edition LP released in 1961. includes a gatefold sleeve with yellow linen back and a great 8-page booklet format.

A compilation from his Paris Impression and other older tiles. Great clarity and dynamics.

I was listening to a cd rip of Joni Mitchell's "Mingus" album and I was blown away by the recording. When Jaco Pastorius hits the snares of his bass your hair is blown back by the air movement from the speakers

+1. Every song is a winner, and some would argue that this was his best album ever. Been a while since I've given Dream Cafe a spin, so it will be first up tonight!

Also, i see on Amazon; 'Three From The Vaults' set is available on CD and Download, so i expect the vinyl won't be far behind to complete the trilogy.

Debs

Hi Debs -

Had to return/exchange "Two" through Amazon - one album had a large deep scratch - but the replacement was excellent.

Have you tried "Sunshine Daydream" (Veneta, Oregon, August 27, 1972)? Great board mix - very well pressed vinyl.  I get more sentimental about the late '70s when I saw so many concerts, but this could easily be my favorite live Dead album.

Didn't know you were a Deadhead or, with respect, perhaps that should that be Debshead?

ATB.
