Ministry ~ ΚΕΦΑΛΗΞΘ [better known as Psalm 69] (1992)
Hard driving industrial heavy metal, this certainly clears the sinuses. Excellent when in the mood.
"Soon I discovered this rock think was true.....
All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world
So there was only one thing I could do
Was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long"
enjoy Steve!
I am thanks Rob, its now been purchased S/H . If you have just remembered those lyrics I am impressed! Heard them a few minutes ago and they made me LOL.
"Jesus Built My Hotrod" would be one of my Desert Island Disc selections. Gibby Haynes from the Butthole Surfers was the vocalist on that track.
The next leap is quite a big one - try another of Al Jourgensen's bands - Rev Co (which is shortened name, their real name is longer) and the album Beers, Steers and Qveers. Scotland's Chris Connelly did most of the album's vocals as well as the album artwork.
Thanks Rob I'll take that leap anon. I have a suspicion that if Kirsty Young played your Desert Island Disk selection from Ministry then there would be the sound of thousands of mouthfuls of tea being involuntarily spat back into rattling tea cups up and down the country!

I reckon you could be right there Steve!
I just checked on the DID archive search:

Haven't played any Yes for a very, very long time. Funny how despite that as the tracks unwind I can remember some of the lyrics.
One of those lovely discoveries you get from time to time. CD3 - The Karma Experience is just a wonderful chilled out 'experience' that really takes you on a journey and envelopes you in sound. Discovered this whilst getting divorced many years ago and it provided some much needed calm in an otherwise turbulent time!

Rhino cd is great. But if you watch/listen to dvd/bluray there's Doyle Bramhall & Alice Smith singing Cry. Shame they did not put it into LPs/CDs.
Only footage available
I seem to be giving this a regular spin these days. This is an '88 CD pressing on Phonogram and the reproduction is superb.
It's been a while since I spun it but the title tune still has got a power to move.
This is just a Motown US reissue from the 90s but the Kandid making the tunes anew.
